She was found wandering alone in the middle of the road near Watson Road in Menifee, frightened and unsure where she belonged. Thankfully, a compassionate Good Samaritan stopped to help, ensuring this sweet puppy had the chance she deserved.
Now safe with Kenai's House, Lucy is embracing puppyhood and discovering the world one adventure at a time. Every day brings something new to explore, and she approaches life with curiosity, excitement, and an eagerness to learn.
Lucy is a happy, playful puppy who loves making new friends and is wonderful with children. She's currently learning all the important skills every puppy needs, including crate training, leash walking, and basic manners. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and love, she'll grow into an incredible lifelong companion.

Marshall, affectionately known as Marvel, is one of those dogs whose story reminds us why second chances matter.
He was one of the very first rescues welcomed into Kenai's House and has overcome more change than any dog should have to experience. Through no fault of his own, Marvel has found himself searching for a new family once again. Despite the changes in his life, he has never stopped believing in people.
His previous family gave him an incredible foundation, helping him grow into the confident, well-mannered dog he is today. Now he's looking for the family that will make forever truly mean forever.

Nutmeg’s story began on the streets, where a compassionate Good Samaritan stepped in and gave her the safety she had been missing. She spent the Christmas holiday wrapped in warmth and kindness for the first time in a long while — and that love was just the beginning of her new chapter.
Now under the care of Kenai’s House, Nutmeg is being thoughtfully trained and prepared for the forever family she so deeply deserves. She has already shown us what a special girl she is.
Nutmeg walks beautifully on leash, is crate trained, and is fully potty trained. She thrives with structure and routine and responds especially well to positive reinforcement (treats are definitely a favorite!).

Where he's finally getting the love, structure, and patience to rediscover what it means to feel safe. Every day, he grows more confident and continues to show us the loving little dog hiding behind those soulful eyes and that adorable underbite that melts everyone's heart he meets.
Teddy thrives when he knows what to expect. He enjoys walks, relaxing with his humans, and being part of a calm, loving home where he can truly settle in.

Lady's story began with heartbreak, but it's quickly becoming one of hope.
She was abandoned in a field near Winchester and Domenigoni and left to fend for herself. Thankfully, a compassionate Good Samaritan noticed her and spent nearly a week making sure she had food, water, and care before reaching out to Kenai's House for help.
Today, Lady is safe, loved, and finally getting the chance every dog deserves. A temporary home with lots of love and cuddles and all the food and water she could desire.
Although she's a little shy when meeting new people, Lady has the sweetest disposition. Give her a little patience, a calm environment, and a few gentle words, and she'll begin to show you her loving heart. Her beautiful eyes seem to tell her entire story. . .they're full of hope, gratitude, and the quiet wish to finally belong.

Boo is 7- year old perfect mix of bulldog sass and soulful sweetness. Found as a stray and patiently waiting for her second chance, she is now safe with Kenai’s House and ready to find the forever family she deserves.
This 7-year-old English Bulldog may be considered a “senior,” but don’t tell her that — she has plenty of personality and charm to keep you smiling every single day! Boo loves her walks, enjoys car rides (or even just relaxing in a parked car), and is happiest when she’s close to her people.
She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on leash. Boo does well with other dogs but appreciates slow introductions and clear boundaries as she warms up.
