Kenai’s House Inc is a non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected and abused animals.

Kenai’s House Inc is completely funded through fundraising efforts and public donations.

All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering and microchipping prior to their adoption.

This questionnaire is designed to help Kenai’s House Inc and yourself determine if a specific dog is the right one for you and your household.

Kenai’s House Inc. is a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. We believe adoption is more than finding an animal a home. It is creating a lasting connection and setting both the pet and family up for success.

Our adoption process is designed to help us understand your lifestyle, household, and expectations so we can make the best possible match.

Our Cat Placement Policy: All cats adopted through Kenai’s House must be kept indoors. We believe indoor placement helps protect cats from traffic, predators, disease, and other outdoor hazards.

Our Foster-to-Adopt Commitment: Every adoption includes a one-week foster trial period. This gives you and your new companion time to adjust and determine whether the placement is the right fit.

ONE-WEEK FOSTER-TO-ADOPT TRIALAll cat adoptions through Kenai's House Inc. include a one-week foster-to-adopt trial period.This period allows the adopter and cat to adjust to their new environment and determine whether the placement is the right fit.If the placement is unsuccessful, the cat must be returned to Kenai's House Inc. All adoption fees will be returned at that time, at the discretion of the Kenai's House team.The adopter agrees not to transfer, sell, surrender, or independently rehome the cat during or after the trial period. If circumstances arise that affect the adopter's ability to care for the cat, Kenai's House must be contacted.
